The Acr Electronics 9490.1 Hydrofix Hydrostatic Release Unit Category I EPIRB is a reliable and essential safety device designed for emergency situations at sea. When submerged in water between 5-13 ft. (1.5 - 4 m), the HydroFix™ disengages the rod, allowing the Category 1 bracket to release the EPIRB.
