Arco Marine 30462 Inboard Starter - Top Mount Gear Reduction, Counter Clockwise

The Arco Marine 30462 Inboard Starter is a top mount starter designed to fit 6.0L GM Engines. It features gear reduction and counter clockwise rotation for efficient and reliable performance. The starter is dynamically tested and packaged for out-of-the-box performance, and is nickel-coated and/or epoxy-painted to reduce corrosion. It is sealed to minimize water intrusion and is designed for long life and optimum performance. The armatures are tested to withstand 50 times operating voltages (12 volts).

ARCO advises using a fully charged battery to prevent damage to the starter and starter solenoid. It is also recommended to clean all connections to prevent resistance and lower the amperage required for an efficient starting circuit.
