It can be sanded, painted, and used both above and below the waterline. This sealant is tack-free in 1 to 3 days and offers excellent resistance to teak oils, gasoline, and diesel fuel. It is ideal for various applications such as sealing teak decks, bedding deck and hull hardware, sealing thru-hull fittings, and repairing underwater seams. Life-Calk can bond to fiberglass, wood, metal, glass, and itself, ensuring a firm rubber seal with exceptional waterproofing and adhesion qualities. It even allows for emergency repairs to be applied underwater.
