The Raritan 171211 12-Gallon Hot Water Heater Heat Exchanger 120V is a high-quality water heater designed to provide hot water for galley and shower use. With its dense foam insulation, this water heater offers better and longer heat retention compared to traditional fiberglass insulation. The tank is protected by a 75 PSI T&P (temperature and pressure) relief valve, ensuring safety and preventing excessive pressure build-up. Its cylindrical design enables it to withstand more pressure than cube-shaped tanks, making it highly durable and reliable.

This model features a heat exchanger that can be connected to the engine cooling system, allowing hot water to be generated even when underway or when generator power is not available. The innovative heat exchanger, over seven feet in length, is evenly coiled throughout the interior of the tank, ensuring rapid and efficient hot water production.

The Raritan 171211 water heater utilizes an ignition-protected thermostat. While factory set to 120°F, the thermostat is adjustable from 110° to 160°F, with a safety shut-down limit of 190°F. All models and sizes have plumbing connections on the same side, simplifying installation. The hot and cold water connections are "male NPT" (National Pipe Thread), while the heat exchanger connections are ¾" female NPT.
