The tank of the water heater is designed with dense foam insulation, which offers superior heat retention compared to traditional fiberglass insulation. This means that your water stays hot for longer periods, saving energy and ensuring you always have hot water when you need it. The tank is also equipped with a 75 PSI (temperature and pressure) relief valve, providing added safety and protection.

One of the standout features of this water heater is its heat exchanger capability. By connecting it to the engine cooling system, you can enjoy hot water even when underway or when generator power is not available. The innovative heat exchanger, measuring over seven feet in length, is evenly coiled inside the tank, ensuring rapid and efficient heating of the water.

For your peace of mind, the Raritan water heater features an ignition-protected thermostat. It comes factory set to 120&degF but can be easily adjusted between 110&degF and 160&degF. Additionally, it has a safety shut down limit of 190&degF, ensuring safe operation at all times.

Installation is made simple with all models and sizes having plumbing connections on the same side. The hot and cold water connections are "male NPT" (National Pipe Thread), while the heat exchanger connections are ¾" female NPT.
