The Simrad AP70 Mk2 Autopilot IMO Pack is a dedicated autopilot controller designed to meet the needs of professional mariners aboard a variety of commercial vessels. It replaces both the AP70 and AP80 as the IMO/SOLAS autopilot controller, offering a brilliant display and modernized software interface.

Engineered for responsiveness, robustness, and ease of use, the AP70 Mk2 features a precision rotary control dial with dedicated buttons for instant access to steering modes, custom-configurable work modes, and multiple rudder/thruster integration. It can accommodate installations with up to six drives, making it suitable for a wide range of vessels.

Wheelmarked for use on SOLAS vessels, the AP70 Mk2 is recognized for its performance, robustness, and quality, making it suitable for all types of ships, from small workboats to large tankers. Advanced configuration and tuning options allow for customization to suit all ships, including support for various rudder/drive types and up to 6 rudders/thrusters integration.

The AP70 Mk2 also features configurable work modes, low/high-speed modes, no drift steering, navigation steering, route following, command transfer, and multiple control station support. It comes with the AC80S autopilot computer, AP70 Mk2 control head, and RF45X feedback included in the package.
