When your Synology RackStation is running low on drive capacity, the RX1217RP offers a convenient solution by providing 12 additional drive slots. This expansion can be done without reformatting the existing hard drives, ensuring uninterrupted service during the process. Additionally, the RX1217RP is equipped with redundant power supplies, allowing for automatic failover support in case of PSU failure. It can also serve as an additional local backup destination for Synology RackStations.

The RX1217RP securely connects to Synology RackStation servers using a high-bandwidth expansion cable, ensuring maximum data throughput and smooth operation. The SATA 6Gb/s interface ensures high-quality data processing performance. Its plug-and-use design makes it easy to integrate into your existing system.
