The GT3HD model comes equipped with four RJ12 ports to connect two remote temperature (SRT) sensors, one uplink for connection to a host device, and a supplementary input for daisy-chaining. It includes 3' and 6' temperature sensors to monitor different locations within the server rack.

The GT3HD sensor requires a host device for data transmission and can be daisy-chained with other sensors to create a comprehensive climate monitoring network with real-time data logging and alarming capabilities. It is ideal for achieving in-row temperature monitoring at various levels within each rack, following ASHRAE guidelines. The plastic enclosure can be easily mounted anywhere in the data center using screws, magnets, or adhesive (not included).
